Job Purpose:
- Reporting to the Software Delivery Manager, and as a member of the Application Development team, the incumbent is a data analyst that works individually or within a team, developing, supporting, enhancing and maintaining applications. The incumbent will be required to work with other IT professionals.
- Participates in the requirement analysis, system analysis and design phases of data warehousing, data transformations , data modelling and data loading
- Define and implement normalized database schema, tables, views, and SQL queries for relational databases and multi dimension databases
- Ensure optimized operational performance of the data warehouse, ETL, queries, views and cubes
- Analyse and manage large sets of data and perform data loading operations from various data sources
- Assures the quality of developed solution and adherence to common standards and framework
- Provides and maintains technical documentation for supported data repositories
- Provides on-going user support, troubleshoots / identifies cause of problems in the deployed applications / environments
- Maintains development frameworks, standards, guideline around workflow tool and engine
- Perform other duties as required
Job Requirement (Essential):
- Solid knowledge of software and user support, as well as Web application support
- Solid knowledge in data warehousing, ETL, data loading, writing queries, data modelling and design patterns
- Solid knowledge of Data Base Management Systems and SQL programming tools such as TransactSQL, SSIS, PL/SQL, MS Access, SSAS
- Knowledge of BI Visualization tools is an asset
- Committed to quality and good customer orientation, good interpersonal skills, a willingness to help others
- General knowledge/expertise/know-how and familiarity with the best practices of the Application and Software Engineering, Software development methodologies and frameworks, Software development lifecycles
- Excellent communication skills in Customer Service Environment
- At least 2 years of position-relevant experience of which some experience on data warehousing, ETL, data modelling, data loading, data transformation, developing SQL queries. Experience in working with large sets of data (financial, health).
- Preferable
- Knowledge in NoSQL, MongoDB
- Knowledge in big data processing
- Knowledge in .net application development
- Experience in end user support and customer relationship management. Practical experience in IT service delivery and IT service level management.
Monthly salary:
Between RM2,500.00 to RM3,500.00
